Auger/Piering

An auger is used for drilling holes into the ground. These can be for piers, which are drilled to solid ground and filled with concrete to support footings and concrete slabs, or they can be used for post holes - whether for a retaining wall, fence, deck or pergola.

An auger attachment on an excavator is a fast and efficient way of drilling multiple holes in a short space of time.
